Happy St. Paddy’s Day.
Sat in the hot tub and had a couple Miller Lite tallboys. I’ll have some of this later:

There is just something right about a tall boy

Especially the bit where you tell your wife that you only had two beers.

That’s why I like me some imperial stout.

I’ll happily drink stout if it’s what’s available, but, in general, I like my beer like I like my women: pale and gassy.

St. What Day?
A double IPA from Fairhope brewing on the South AL coast. One of my Top 5 IPA from anywhere, ever. Stone? Dogfish? MEH.
Dat Pelican!

...and some whisky.
To put it lightly.
Flora and Fauna...
Where did you get it? What drove you to buy it? What do you think of it? So many questions...
Myself? Having some Ileach Cask Strength.

Inlaws went to Scotland and brought it back for me. It is rich and malty, smokey and delicious. It has probably ruined all other whisky for me forever.

Lately I’ve been branching out and looking for Highland whiskys with character. Online says this one ticks all the boxes. All I can do is hope Diageo is watching and does a general release.
Last year I discovered Clynelish 14. Up until a couple of years ago it was only available in the Flora and Fauna series. This one may cure your ruined-all-other-whisky-itis.
